In light of President’s Day on the horizon, we here at Mandependence have dug through the archives to find some of the greatest Presidents of all time. Instead of diving into long winded history books, we have decided to travel through the venue of TV and film. These are the Top 5: Greatest TV and Movie Presidents.
All of these guys render a 10 on the badass scale. These fictional portrayals, or renditions of real Presidents, help to shape what we consider the caliber of men that should sit in the Oval Office. Politics played no role in our decision.
Instead, we graded each performance on presidential caliber, speech, and the most important measurement… would we want to drink a beer with them? So while you’re out there stuffing your face with an all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet and washing it down with a crisp Bud Diesel, tip your hat to the men that – fictionally – made this country great. Reflect on and compare the men that helped shape our visions of the men who actually held the position. These are the true presidential rubrics, of which we measure all Presidents hereafter.
