Top 10 Rock ‘n Roll Frontmen of All Time

The list is official. We now have the Top 10 Greatest Rock ‘n Roll Frontmen of all time. We have compared our lists and reviewed your votes to lock down the final decision on these manly maestros. Now, there were some major changes from what we originally had posted…

Just to highlight some of those changes. Mick Jagger moved way up to the #3 spot. I couldn’t agree more. He is a legit part of one of the most influential rock groups of all time. Layne Staley was, sadly, completely removed from the top 10. I think this is due in large part to his shortened career and because Alice and Chains was nowhere near the popularity of some of the other groups. But the biggest leap for us was adding in the “lyrical prime rib of rock music”. A man whose prowess of vocal verbiage is comparable by no one else. Of course, the rock-ness monster himself, Ronnie James Dio, made it to the #10 spot. So, below, we have now closed the book on the greatest frontmen of all time. Let us know what you think by commenting or reaching out to us on the DOM Twitter Squadron. Enjoy.

10.) Ronnie James Dio

9.) Roger Daltrey

8.) Steven Tyler

I’m sorry, who? Freddie Mercury was the greatest. I mean have you ever watched a Queen concert before?
