Like any red-blooded American, I can’t wait for the new Batman movie. The new poster is leading me to believe what all Batman fans already know. Batman vs Bain = Batman’s broken back. I have been hoping to some extent that this was going to be changed in the film, but it appears that the Dark Knight is going to get whooped in this one. According to Christian Bale and Director Christopher Nolan, this is going to be the last time this dynamic duo is going to work together on a Batman film. That drives me nuts! Here is my chief concern:

who would be the new Batman? Listen, the Caped Crusader barely survived getting Clooney-ed; I don’t think he can survive another one. Stick with what you’re good at, Christian Bale. Michael Keaton is too old to take the reins back. You know there are going to be other Batman films after this. Hopefully none of these include Chris O’Donnell as Robin, or really, hopefully, none of the films have Robin. That’s my thing, I feel like Robin is by far the softest of sidekicks. What is he, Batman Light? No one wants to hang out with the rhythm guitarist in a band and that’s what Robin is. Think about it, at least Dr. Watson is a doctor to Sherlock Holmes. But I digress. The choice for the next Batman is of presidential proportions. So I submit to you, if Christian Bale is gone, who should be the next Batman? My choice: our buddy Laser.
