There comes a time in every revolution when a man must emerge as a leader. Not an appointed pawn or a flaccid figurehead. Rather, a man who leads by example. He lets his actions speak louder than his words. Men, today we have such a leader amongst us. He is Tankmanly and he is the first DOM member to earn 500 points. (Editor’s note: Mandependence.com hosted a contest on our previous version of this website, whereby members earned points for participation.)   We must admit that a few tears were shed as Tankmanly’s 499 points ticked over to the monumental 500. His was an epic journey through the food rankings until he was honorably promoted to the beer rankings. Why, it seems like it was just yesterday that he had graduated from Tater Tot to Chicken Nugget. As was promised, Tankmanly will receive a free Mandependence shirt to wear as a badge of honor. However, we pose the question, “Was it really free?” Let’s review some of Tankmanly’s accomplishments throughout his storied path to greatness.
